Our bandsKrief de Soli (Canada)Project "Krief de Soli" originates from the province of Quebec (Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts), where in the year of 2009 it was found by the person named Egregoir de Sang. There is almost nothing know about the author, therefore the musical palette of his compositions is versatile and wide enough, to be complicated and at the same time - aerial. Atmospheric, slow and mournful funeral doom played by maestro de Sang possesses invisible furious power, which is able to shake the heavens disrupting the rivers and the minds of the listeners. The project is unique in its religion-specific approach, which is conceptually embedded into each sound, every rustle, each composition, each album. Time after time, accusing and immediately praising, maestro de Sang bears the listener through the hurricane of outrageous wrath of the heavens, and grants bliss and light at the end, charming with the symphonic arrangements and frightening with fierce growl vocals and droning heavy guitars. All used lyrics are in Latin dead language. All of this is enframed in the dense, raw and cold funeral doom metal soundscape. The debut album of Krief de Soli was released in 2010 and followed the conception of Apocalypse, described in the so-named part of Bible written by Saint John The Divine. The lyrics of first two track were taken from first two chapters of the "Revelation...", written in the dead Latin language. The album had received positive, sometimes even rapturous responses from the critics and the admirers of Funeral Doom Metal. The second album called "Munus Solitudinis" is going to be released on April 2012.
